But I do think we need to work for peace on earth after we are called to redeem creation not just human souls, after jesus came to redeem all that sin has infected even creation. Even though we are by Jesus in matt. 24 war will not end until he comes back there will be peace in between those wars
But this peace Jesus is talking about is an inward peace that only he, through Jesus Christ can give
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.Since I don't think Jesus is talking about the Peacemaker that clint eastwood used, what kind is he talking about. Well I think he is talking about the hebrew shalom which means an inward peace. Now this is a peace only God can give.
